3rd Round Reversal vs Snake Draft

I need help to decide if I should switch my league’s draft this year from a traditional snake to a third-round reversal. 10 team PPR draft with 14 rounds. I have heard that 3rd round reversal makes the draft more fair and balanced. Does anyone have any experience with this style of the draft and if they actually balanced things out? Thanks in advance for the advice.

I’ve no personal experience, but it seems to be the consensus that it does in fact balance it out. I have heard about it for the past few years, but my leagues are dynasty / keeper so it does not really affect my decisions.

Just here to confirm your readings, but no hard proof.
