Another "Which RB to start" post

I made the playoffs, so it is obviously must win. This is a standard league.

We can start two running backs and I am the James Conner and Nick Chubb owner.

With Conner out, who should I start?

  • Spencer Ware
  • Gus Edwards
  • Dalvin Cook
  • Jaylen Samuels

I lean Edwards as his carry count and YPC has been great. However, is he really gonna get 18-20 carries assuming KC continues their offensive rampage? I don’t think he’s even caught a pass this year… What are your thoughts?

I feel that Cook is a great play (and the safest play) as he’s been extremely involved in the passing game and I assume this matchup (Vikings vs. Seahawks) will benefit him.

Samuels (the dark horse) has looked GREAT imo… and I feel like he’ll get a ton of work vs. Raiders.

I normally feel confident in who I play, but I am so conflicted at this point.

If you’re in yahoo, play Samuels in your TE spot and Cook as your 2nd RB. If Samuels doesn’t fit there, then you have a tough decision.
Ware- just not a good option
Edwards- has been a beast, but he’s dinged up, and had a decreased volume last week with the addition of Dixon
Cook- Decent matchup, good volume, great talent
Samuels- IF he is named the featured back (could be Ridley or timeshare) then his volume will be great and should have a good opportunity

With all that being said, I go:
Samuels (IF featured back)

Thank you for the feedback. This is ESPN.
