Hey, FootClan! I’m in a 10-team full PPR keeper league and we’ve got our auction draft coming up soon. We Have a $200 budget and we can keep two players for last year’s price +$5 if it’s the first time keeping them. It’s +$10 for the second year.
I was wondering if it’s better to pay up and lock in a stud or would you target value players/prices and gamble with the savings.
I have the option to keep CMC, but I paid $70 for him last year so he’d cost me $75 this year. With keeper inflation, is it safer to keep him than to fight against everyone else’s “extra” money? Is a bird in the hand worth two in the bush at that price?
I’m definitely keeping Ekeler for $17 (my second year keeping him), but alternatives to CMC for a discount are Waller and McLaurin for $6, Kareem at $8, Parker at $10, or even A.J. Brown for $13. Thanks in advance for the help!
