Do you ever pick players b/c who your opponent is playing?

So I am just trying to fill out a flex spot.

I’m choosing between Hogan and Watkins…

My opponent is playing Mahomes as his QB… since the rankings for these two are farily close do I lean Watkins to possible negate some of mahomes points… Or does that never factor into your decision.?

2 ways of looking at it. Yeah, that will negate some of Mahomes’ points. But it also means that in order for Watkins to get points, Mahomes will have to get points also. I wouldn’t worry about it. Play whichever one you like better this week.
