FAAB Bids - bids up to total amount or total amount all at once?

If I place a bid of $61 on TJ Hockenson and the rest of the league only bids up to $30, do I get the player for $31? Or does my bid go through at the amount I enter?

I’m using Yahoo.

You get that player for the amount you made your bid for. So in your example you would be paying $61 for him

Thanks, I was confused but after I thought about it if it were the other way, people could just bid $200 and have the system bid them up to the top automatically…which would break the system.
