I need to decide between Matt Breida and Tarik Cohen. Breida has a hell of an upside now that he is RB1 but cohen is more dependable! Some advice would be great! Thank you in advance.
Is this a standard scoring or PPR league?
Breida, don’t think Cohen is going to be nearly as good as last year with Montgomery in the fold. They even said they used him too much last year.
If this is a PPR league, then I would have to disagree with you. Cohen not only plays in the backfield, but they line him up at receiver a lot as well. He will get a good amount of targets each game which will make him a solid start. I do agree with you in the fact that David Montgomery takes away from him though
Breida’s big problem last year was just health. He was great when he was on the field, even when he was sharing carries with another RB. He seems to be fully healthy to start the season, so I say fire him up–even in a full or half PPR format. Breida caught 27 of 31 passes last year, so it’s definitely part of his game. Once he’s dinged up, it’s closer.
