Does he hold any value anymore for the Jets? Or is he a comfortable drop in dynasty
Ryan Griffin has lost fantasy value with the acquisition of Bershad Perriman, but this lost fantasy value has been minimised with Quincy Enunwa out for the season. Ryan Griffin has good TD upside and with Darnold now under pressure to play well with an experienced back up in Flacco could see Griffin as top 12-15 TE and 450-550 receiving yards and 45-50 receptions, but this depends on the how often Gore and Perine are used on short yardage 3rd and 4th downs and the YPC of Bell to get first downs to keep the chain moving. Griffin will be a comfortable low end TE2/high end TE3.
Yes he is droppable. Just make sure you’re dropping him for a better player. He’s 30.
I do think his time in the sun has gathered shade. I’d consider holding him if it is TE premium in the event Herndon does not come back as we hoped, but I’d be okay letting him go.
