Tight End 101

## Strong Rookie Season

Noah Fant wrapped up his rookie campaign with 40 receptions for 562 yards and 3 touchdowns. Those are very impressive numbers for a rookie tight end. We know that rookie TEs tend to struggle in their first season in the NFL. He was just the 12th rookie TE since 2000 to surpass 500 receiving yards.

The skill is there. Those are the numbers Kittle was putting up before he broke out, as heard in the Ballers podcast. Now the question is opportunity.

How good will Lock be?
How often will Denver throw the ball?
When they do throw, what’s the progression?
Where is Fant on the pecking order with Sutton, Hamilton and Lindsay established, and the Broncos adding a top WR prospect in Jeudy and a great receiving back in Melvin Gordon?
