Time to ditch Fournette?

#1

I’m currently 3-4 and not down and out yet. I was hit by some tough matchups earlier this year but have been performing well recently. Is it time for me to trade Leonard Fournette to buy some wins and try to make the playoffs? Thanks for the help!

My team:
QB: Kirk Cousins
RB: Melvin Gordon
RB: Kerryon Johnson
WR: Keenan Allen
WR: JuJu Smith-Schuster
TE: Kyle Rudolph
FLEX: Jarvis Landry
D/ST: Ravens D/ST
K: Dan Bailey
BE: Buck Allen
BE: Keke Coutee
BE: Corey Clement
BE: Mohamed Sanu
BE: Duke Johnson Jr
BE: Geronimo Allison
IR: Leonard Fournette

I would say no. I get the temptation to sell but what do you get for Fournette right now? Nothing that really helps and he has potential to come back fresh and dominate. I am packaging hin in trades in 2 for 1s and that may turn out, but its also very possible that we should just be patient and wait until week 11 when he comes back.

Well, you won’t get much for him now. He’s kind of a sell a low until week 9-10, assuming he doesn’t play until after the bye. If you can find someone who thinks he’ll have the same volume after the bye and be productive, I would trade him away in a heartbeat.
