Trade 1st overall pick for David Johnson?

I’m in a 12 team full ppr keeper league (1 keeper, no draft penalty) and I was offered David Johnson for a 1st and 5th round pick swap.

I currently have Kareem Hunt as my keeper and was looking at someone along the lines of Saquon Barkley, Deandre Hopkins, or Alvin Kamara 1st overall, but there seems to be a solid talent pool at 8th overall (pick I would be swapping for) with the likes of Christian McCaffrey, Julio Jones, Jerrick McKinnon, Leonard Fournette, and even Kareem Hunt hovering around.

DJ looks to be in good shape and healthy, so this is quite tempting (plus I am personally pretty high on McCaffrey)

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

So basically, your trade would put you upgrading Hunt to David Johnson and downgrading 7 slots on the 1st and 5th rounds towards McCaffrey in the 1st.
I would lean towards taking the deal as well. DJ is more of a known factor than Saquon and their O-lines are even closely ranked according to Pro Football Focus.


Your preference towards McCaffrey is also a side benefit. :smile:
